A garment born at ORCA, brought into everyday life. The story that unfolds after the clothes are finished.

ORCAで生まれた一着が、日常へ。服が仕上がる、その先の物語。

We recently hosted the "LIFESTYLE GALLERY ORCA” POP UP STORE at apartir.

Though it was a short period, many people visited us, and many conversations were born through the clothing.

"I'd like to try wearing a color like this."
"I usually only wear navy or black, but maybe I'll give this a try."
"I want to have a piece tailored that I can wear for a long time."

The time spent spreading out fabric, holding it up to the light, and pressing it against the skin to let the imagination run wild.

It's not about deciding on the spot, but rather envisioning the finished product together while learning about each customer's lifestyle and values. That is the true pleasure of custom tailoring.

And recently, the clothes ordered at that time have finally been finished.

Clothes are not finished the moment they are made, but the moment you put them on.

Clothes hanging on a hanger are still a bit quiet.

But the moment a person puts them on, the clothes are imbued with body heat.

The three items finished this time also hold different roles, yet are beautifully connected as one person's wardrobe.

A shirt.

A shirt jacket.

Trousers.

None of them are flashy.

However, the longer you live with them, the more their quality truly resonates.

A shirt jacket made of CANONICO hopsack, wearing a light allure.

The first thing that catches the eye is this gentle pink.

The fabric chosen is hopsack from the Italian mill Vitale Barberis Canonico.

When people hear "hopsack," many might think of jacket fabric.

Its textured weave allows air to pass through easily, making it comfortable even in sweltering seasons.

It is lighter than it looks and resistant to wrinkles.

It is a material with such functionality.

This time, we ventured to tailor that hopsack as a shirt jacket.

Not as stiff as a jacket.

Not as light as a shirt.

It is just the right middle ground, completing an outfit with a simple throw-on.

With an open collar and large patch pockets.

Despite its relaxed silhouette, the unique three-dimensional quality of the hopsack creates a mature elegance.

This soft pink was also very impressive.

It is a nuanced color that isn't flashy and blends well with the skin.

Pair it with black trousers for an urban look.

With ecru or light gray, it feels soft.

I can imagine wearing it not just in spring and summer, but over a high-gauge knit in early autumn.

The luxury of sky blue, created by THOMAS MASON.

The other piece is a refreshing sax blue open-collar shirt.

The fabric is from THOMAS MASON, a representative British shirting manufacturer.

Founded in 1796.

A prestigious name with over 200 years of history.

The smoothness unique to fine count yarns.

A luster reminiscent of silk.

And a lightness that seems to hold the air.

A shirt is something you wear under a jacket.

That is one way of thinking, but this shirt is complete on its own.

The shading created when it catches the light.

The three-dimensionality where the collar rolls naturally.

The soft drape that sways with every step.

Because it is simple, the beauty of the fabric stands out.

In summer, roll up the sleeves and wear it with white or black trousers.

In autumn, use it as an inner layer for a jacket.

It is a piece that will serve as a cornerstone of your wardrobe throughout the year.

A beautiful black, depicted by KUNISHIMA "HARDREX".

For matching bottoms, we chose black trousers tailored with KUNISHIMA HARDREX.

At first glance, it looks like a very simple pair of black slacks.

However, that impression changes the moment you put them on.

The high-density weave unique to KUNISHIMA.

A firm resilience.

And a beautifully falling drape.

The color black can sometimes look heavy, but this fabric has depth.

Every time it catches the light, slight shadows are created, making it look three-dimensional.

That is the charm of HARDREX.

The silhouette is loose yet flows naturally toward the hem.

It looks beautiful even when a shirt is tucked in, and the whole look is tightened if you wear a shirt jacket over it.

If you have one pair, they will accompany you for both holidays and work.

They are such reliable trousers.

From ORCA to apartir. And then, to the customer's daily life.

The encounter with the garment that began at the POP UP has taken shape in this way.

But the real story starts here.

Washing it repeatedly.

Continuing to wear it.

As the seasons turn, it gradually becomes accustomed to the body.

There is value in tailoring that includes that time.

What kind of scenery will this garment, born at LIFESTYLE GALLERY ORCA, show in the customer's daily life from here on?

We, too, are looking forward to what comes next.
