KUNISHIMA TWILL “CHAMBRAY” 洋服好きが、自分の「好き」を仕立てる。 一見すると、ベーシックなチャコールグレー。 けれど、光が差し込んだ瞬間に、生地の表情がふっと変わる。 今回仕立てたのは、KUNISHIMA TWILL “CHAMBRAY”を使った、 挙式のハレの場に向けた自身とパートナーを表現する一着。 経糸と緯糸で異なる色を組み合わせることで、単色のグレーにはない奥行きが生まれる。角度によってわずかに色が揺れて見える、その表情はどこかヴィンテージのスーツを思わせます。 派手な生地ではありません。 むしろ、一見するととても静か。 だからこそ、シルエットやディテールに目がいく。 そして今回、このスーツを特別なものにしているのは、お客様の洋服遍歴を活かしたデザインでした。 「好きなトラウザー」を、スーツにする 今回オーダーいただいたお客様は、長く洋服を楽しまれている方。 すでにお持ちだったヴィンテージトラウザーズ。 そのシルエットがとても気に入っていて、 「このトラウザーの雰囲気を、スーツにできないか」 そんなところから今回の一着は始まりました。 オーダーというと、 生地を選び、サイズを合わせ、襟やポケットを決めていく。 そんなイメージが一般的かもしれません。 でも、本当の意味で面白いオーダーは、もう少し自由です。 自分が好きで着てきた服。 古着屋で見つけた一本。 何年経っても手放せないジャケット。 そういう「自分のワードローブにある記憶」を、新しい服へ持ってくることができる。...

夏の装いを、軽く、涼しく、少しだけ端正に。 暑い季節になると、どうしてもTシャツやショーツのような軽い服に手が伸びます。 けれど、夏だからこそ楽しみたいのが、素材と色でつくるシャツスタイル。 今回ご紹介するのは、apartirでオーダーいただいた半袖シャツと、メッシュウールのトラウザーズを組み合わせたスタイルです。 Tシャツより涼しく、長袖シャツほど構えない。 そのちょうど中間にあるような、夏のための一着です。 FRESCO ― 暑い季節に選びたい、ドライなシャツ生地 今回シャツに選ばれたのは、フレスコ生地。 フレスコといえばスーツ地としても知られる素材ですが、その魅力はなんといっても通気性とドライな肌触りにあります。 糸を強く撚り、適度なハリを持たせて織り上げることで、生地と肌の間にわずかな空間が生まれる。 汗ばむ季節にも肌にまとわりつきにくく、風が抜けるような軽快さがあります。 夏のシャツに求めたいのは、単純な「薄さ」だけではありません。 薄すぎる生地は身体のラインを拾いやすく、場合によっては頼りなく見えてしまう。 その点、フレスコには適度なコシがあり、シャツとしての立体感を保ちながら涼しく着られるという魅力があります。 グレーとサックスブルーの間にある、静かな色 今回のもうひとつのポイントが、この色です。 一見するとグレー。 けれど光の当たり方によって、サックスブルーのような涼やかさも感じられる。 いわゆる「ニュアンスカラー」と呼ばれる色ですが、単に曖昧な色というわけではありません。 落ち着きと清涼感を同時に持っている。 それが、このシャツの面白さです。 白シャツほど明快ではなく、ブルーシャツほどスポーティでもない。 トラウザーズと合わせれば品よくまとまり、デニムやショーツと合わせれば、もう少し肩の力を抜いた表情になります。 一枚の中にいくつかの着こなしの余地がある。 それも、オーダーで色や素材を選ぶ楽しさのひとつです。 半袖シャツだからこそ、シルエットを大切に 半袖シャツは、袖が短くなる分だけ全体のバランスが強く出ます。 だからこそ、apartirのオーダーでは単純に「長袖の袖を短くする」という考え方ではなく、夏に一枚で着たときの全体の見え方を大切にしています。...
