Commitment to Materials and Fabric

The warp yarn uses 7-count slub yarn blended with San Joaquin cotton and Australian cotton, while the weft yarn uses 6-count straight yarn.
The red selvedge denim woven on old-style shuttle looms boasts a three-dimensional texture and beautiful aging that appears with repeated wear.

Sewing and Details

For stitching, a US-made Union Special sewing machine, which is no longer in production, is used.
By using several types of cotton thread of different counts and colors for each section, the threads naturally shrink with the fabric, creating the twists and fades characteristic of selvedge denim.
This careful craftsmanship, characteristic of SCYE, shows a deep understanding of vintage denim.

Silhouette

The waist is slightly fitted, while the wide silhouette tapers from the extremely wide thigh to the hem.
