Full of military-style details such as baker pockets, cargo pockets, and belt loops, this highly original design combines elements of baker pants, cargo pants, and British military trousers.

Front pocket : Baker pockets found on fatigue pants and utility trousers.

Side cargo pockets : Exposed buttons, typical of the Dutch military.

Back pocket : flap design.

Belt Loops : Three detachable belt loops reminiscent of British Battle Dress Trousers.

Waist : Adjustable with adjuster.

Hem : Comes with a drawstring for adjusting the silhouette.

About the fabric

The main fabric is a slightly thick cotton twill. The steep weave gives it a subtle sheen and smooth surface, reminiscent of moleskin. It is a durable fabric that develops a unique texture with repeated wear.

The sides, inner thighs, and hips are sewn together with an interlock stitch, and then double-stitched with two needles for a sturdy military look.

Design and Background

These Dutch military cargo pants are so similar in construction that they may have been used as a design source in the COMME des GARÇONS JUNYA WATANABE MAN 2004 S/S collection.

The design is so perfect that it has been sampled by globally acclaimed brands, yet it is a rare item available as deadstock. A must-have for fans of military pants.
