Harrisons custom suit finish

ハリソンズ オーダースーツ仕上がり - apartir Online Store

Mid-season.

This season is swept by a storm of tradition.

While suits continue to evolve to be easier and more functional, I believe the longing for European history and the British gentleman remains unchanged.

This time, I tailored a suit in the check pattern known as Prince of Wales.

Harrisons is a fabric brand that receives a lot of inquiries at our shop, and it is a genuine British brand called Harrisons of Edinburgh.

While many fabric manufacturers have moved their operations overseas these days, they still hold to the philosophy in the UK that "only the finest raw materials can produce the highest quality fabrics," weaving top-grade wool with the firm, dense construction characteristic of British textiles.

Since the request was for a traditional look that could be worn year-round, both for professional and casual settings, I designed the jacket and trousers so they could be worn as separates as well.

For the jacket, I incorporated American trad elements such as three buttons, patch pockets, and dropped shoulders.

The wide, semi-notch lapel is recommended for an impression that isn't too stiff.

The bottoms feature a popular double-reverse pleat with a turn-up hem, creating a wide silhouette that produces an A-line shape when worn as a set.

The result is a classic finish reminiscent of King Charles or Sherlock Holmes.

I have already seen photos of the suit worn as separates, and it seems to be well-received for its details and sizing that don't feel overly classical.

Bespoke suit (2P) from ¥99,000-
