SCYE × PUMA SUEDE: Refined footwear created by two special collaborations

We have received two styles of PUMA’s masterpiece, the "SUEDE," reimagined through the lens of SCYE.

One is a copper-colored suede that looks like it has aged over time.
The other is a quiet, sophisticated pair crafted from black smooth leather.

Both are based on the iconic "SUEDE," which was born in 1968.
The idea isn't to drastically alter a perfected classic, but to make subtle changes to the materials and details.

That is where the charm of SCYE’s craftsmanship lies.

Adding trekking boot details to a classic sneaker

The first thing that catches your eye is the AGED COPPER color.

It’s a worn-in copper shade rarely seen in new sneakers, and it complements the soft texture of the suede perfectly.

The foundation, of course, is the PUMA SUEDE.

SCYE’s interpretation is expressed through the addition of metal lace hooks at the top of the eyestays.

By adding just one detail reminiscent of trekking boots to the low-cut SUEDE, the footwear gains a touch of ruggedness.

The heel features the SCYE logo and the PUMA Cat on the left and right, respectively.

It retains the lightness of a sports shoe while adding just a hint of an outdoor or workwear vibe.

Copper: Versatile enough for your wardrobe

What’s interesting about this color is how unexpectedly easy it is to style.

In this look, we’ve paired it with a brown hoodie, a dark navy denim jacket, and wide brown trousers.

Even with a limited color palette, the copper nuance on the feet adds a unique touch.

Treating the PUMA SUEDE like a dress shoe

The second style uses the same SUEDE base but offers a completely different impression.

The color is black.

And its most notable feature is the use of smooth leather instead of suede.

In contrast to the matte texture of suede, this leather has a polished sheen.

Because of this, while it retains the sporty silhouette of the PUMA SUEDE, it carries a certain tension reminiscent of dress shoes.

Another detail worth noting is the visible "welt" finish, which is different from the standard SUEDE, adding a slightly rugged expression to the profile.

At the same time, it retains the original specifications for the eyelets.

This is where the SCYE character shines through.

It doesn't change everything; it keeps enough of the PUMA SUEDE DNA for it to be recognizable, while using materials and details to shift the impression.

Finding a new balance within a product that is already complete.

That is the essence of this collaboration.

The black pair belongs with trousers

For this look, we paired a black jacket with black trousers.

We added a red cap and striped socks, finishing the look with the black SUEDE LTH.

Just because they are sneakers doesn't mean they have to be limited to casual styling.

In fact, this pair is at its most interesting when worn with wool trousers or a suit.

They aren't as stiff as leather shoes, but not as rough as standard sports sneakers.
