This LENO original fabric features the softness and natural luster of silk, complementing the dry texture of linen and the horizontal knots that stand out, creating an elegant feel.

The linen thread is dyed using a labor-intensive technique called skein dyeing*.

The product undergoes a special wash which softens the luster of the silk and gives it a worn, used look with a refined appearance.

With each wear and wash, the fabric becomes more faded and its texture becomes softer, making it a material that develops and matures as you wear it.

This button-down shirt has a casual look, but the detailed stitching makes it stand out. The addition of flannel interlining, shell, split yoke and dress tailoring gives it a great look.

You can wear it oversized to take advantage of the soft texture of the material, or you can wear it just right to bring out the shine.


What is skein dyeing?
A skein of threads is a type of dyeing method in which the threads are slowly dyed. This method is more time-consuming than other dyeing methods, but it is characterized by the fact that it does not put excessive strain on the threads and can dye them evenly all the way to the core while retaining their original texture.
