日本屈指の縫製工房 - apartir

Japan's leading sewing workshop

Hello.

One of our store's concepts is customization.

If you ask me, it's a difficult item to get into because it's difficult to get my hands on, but for me, having worked in the ready-to-wear market where you can make things that aren't ready-made products because you can't find the details you're looking for or the size doesn't fit, it's a great item for me.

We would like to introduce you to a workshop that can flexibly respond to your wishes.

This is "Site", which has a factory in Miyazaki, Kyushu.

The other day, I had the opportunity to actually see the work before signing the contract.

There is a direct ANA flight from Nagoya Airport, and when you arrive at Miyazaki Airport, you board the limited express Hyuga and arrive at a place near a beautiful coastline with palm trees that remind you of a tropical country.

The factory we arrived at on the extremely fast Hachiroku was much larger than I had expected, and the galvalume exterior walls were navy blue, making it very stylish.

We would like to take you on a tour of our factory right away.

First, I was surprised by the layout of the workplace, which is not a line, and the flat nature of the workplace.

The process of patterning, cutting, and sewing is carried out while moving and looking at each other.

The factory I visited before was completely run on a line, and I thought it was amazing, almost like a machine, but the production process here seemed to be very manual, and I felt a sense of craftsmanship.

Above all, I was impressed by the steam irons placed at each step of the process and the attention to detail in how the fabric was used.

It's like magic to see how a flat piece of fabric becomes three-dimensional if you carefully process it.

In terms of equipment, we have several AMF (American Machine and Foundry) machines, and our used stainless steel steam irons have been polished to ensure the quality of our products.

The interlining is hand-stitched by craftsmen who carefully check the balance, which is clearly different from factories that use adhesive interlining.

After all, there are few factories that are so particular about suits, where the process of fitting them to the body is essential for long-term use.

Therefore, I can recommend it with confidence.

We will do our best to deliver this same feeling to our customers.
