Unwavering

A new brand has been added to àpartir.

An unwavering brand.

-Scye-

Although it is a new brand for àpartir,

It is a designer brand that I have trusted and respected for 20 years.

I think it all started with Mr. M's blog.

At that time, the medium of blogging had just appeared,

I saw it not only in fashion magazines but also at the cutting edge where you can get new information.

Among the items that uniquely complement beautiful items were items from Scye.

Scye is designed by Hisayo Hidaka and pattern cutter by Hideaki Miyahara.

While basing our creations on British tailoring found in 19th century Edwardian style,

We are developing one-of-a-kind products using advanced cutting, pattern work, and original materials.

I believe that clothes are the culmination of history and technology.

We continue to create the best creations that combine both.

The first is the Scye Basics line, which is continuously developed and refined within Scye.

San Joaquin cotton series work jacket and chino trousers.

When you think of a jacket, it's inevitable that you'll think of a tailored jacket.

There are actually many different styles.

This work jacket, as it is called, is based on the sack coat, a short, loose-fitting men's jacket with no seam at the waistline.

It is also said to be the origin of the American traditional sack suit.

At that time, workers in the United States gained citizenship through British immigrants and established a new fashion style.

This item was reborn as a new style from a long morning dress.

This jacket is a style that combines American traditional fashion and work.

The no-vent style with three buttons, three patches, and a boxy silhouette is perfect.

It's amazing how modern techniques are used to create a three-dimensional finish using cutting and pattern work, with almost no interlining.

Of course, although it is tailored, the wrapping and chain stitching makes it stronger than dress items, making it a masterpiece that can be used for a long time.

The material is spun from cotton harvested in California's San Joaquin Valley, and is one of the highest quality cottons grown in San Joaquin's fertile soil and clear air.

Sunjokin cotton is used for the warp yarn, and natural uneven yarn from Zimbabwe cotton from Africa is used for the weft yarn to give the chino cloth a rich and expressive ridged feel.

The item will become even more valuable over time as it will look more worn and washed.

You can use it as a work jacket or coordinate it with denim or work pants.

There is no inferiority even if you match it with dress pants.

We also have pants that can be used as a set-up.

More on this later.

It is guaranteed to be useful as an outerwear that will complement your everyday wear.

First, try putting it through the sleeves.

You can't fully appreciate the silhouette created by the pattern work and the quality of the material until you try it on.
