While a new brand for àpartir, Scye has been a designer brand that I have trusted and respected for 20 years.
Theきっかけ was Mr. M's blog, I believe.
At the time, blogs were just emerging, but I saw it on this cutting-edge platform where I could get new information beyond fashion magazines.
Among the items that uniquely dressed down elegant pieces, there was Scye's.
Scye features Hidaka Hisayo as the designer and Miyahara Hideaki as the pattern cutter.
While basing their creations on British tailoring seen in 19th-century Edwardian style,
they develop unique products through advanced cutting, pattern work, and original materials.
I believe clothing is a crystallization of history and technology,
and they continue to create the best pieces that combine both.

This San Joaquin cotton is used for the warp threads, and natural slub yarns of African Zimbabwe cotton are used for the weft threads to give a rich expression to the ridges of the chino cloth.
As it is worn and washed, it will gain character, becoming an even more valuable item over time.
